The Ventricles of the Brain
The ventricles of the brain are four cavities which are filled with cerebrospinal fluid. Two large lateral ventricles are in the cerebrum, the third ventricle lies between the two thalami and the fourth between the cerebellum and the brain stem.
This is a simulation of the chaotic electrical activity during ventricular fibrillation in an anatomicaly acurate rabbit ventricle (simultaneous anterior and posterior views. Red color represents voltage activations).
